Ever dream of building the next big game?
Create your first Windows 8 game using Scirra's Construct 2 - a powerful
game-creation tool. Games created with Construct 2 can be exported as
Windows Store apps for Windows 8, Windows Phone apps, Android apps, iOS
apps, and more. Build your resume with game development and
app-publishing experience. Publish your game in the new Windows Store,
and become rich and famous. Above all, at this event *you will learn a
simple way to build amazing games*.
Join us to learn about the amazing opportunity of Windows 8 and the
Windows Store. Next, we will take a look at Scirra's Construct 2 -- a
game creator for Windows which empowers coders AND non-coders to create
amazing and addictive games, including shooters, platform games (like
Super Mario Brothers), puzzles, games using a physics engine, driving
games, turret defense games, catapult games (like Angry Birds), and
more! We will walk you through creating a game using Scirra's Construct
2. Then, we will unleash you to create amazing games and submit them to
the Windows Store!
The event will be held on Sat 11/23 from 9am-5pm at:
*1310 Anthony Hall
*
Michigan State University
East Lansing, MI
Please bring a Windows laptop (Windows XP SP3 or later will work, but if
you have Windows 8, that is preferred). You are also welcome to
download Construct 2 in advance from

will have USB drives with it at the event. The system requirements are
at https://www.scirra.com/manual/6/system-requirements.
Lunch will be provided. *Please register at
http://games-msu.eventbrite.com <http://games-msu.eventbrite.com> so we
