Dear Student -- here's a new class for Spring 2013...

CAS 492 (section 301) "Building Monsters and Displaying Data - Writing
Code for the Creative Mindset"

This class is 3 credits and meets Tuesday/Thursday from 4:10-6:00 in
room 242 COM. If you want to learn the basics of how to visualize data
this class is perfect for you! This course is designed to teach people
of all skill levels how to create static and interactive graphics using
an introductory programming language called Processing. The course will
start by creating interactive monsters as a way to learn basic
programming concepts. Students will then learn how to bring these
concepts together to create data visualizations. No prereqs are
required, however, students must visit
https://login.msu.edu/?App=CASIT_Override to get a seat in the course.
