[Bmi] BMI Flyer: Please post and distribute

Dear colleague:

The attached is a BMI flyer.  If you print, make sure that you pick the correct file for your
letter or A4 size.

The deadline for full paper submission is Sunday, March 4 (a week from now).

We do not expect a lot of submissions, as this is the first year for
BMI.  Please consider to submit.

We encourage also theoretical and position papers, although they are not
always tolerated in other conferences. Consider to submit such a paper
if you have insightful views!

We will select some ICBM papers to be augmented into papers for a special issue for the IEEE Transactions on Autonomous Mental Development.

I think that the BMI summer courses will be useful for my students as well as myself.
Please note that for summer courses we allow up to two weeks of distance learning in
each of the two 3-week course sessions, except for the week next to the ICBM
conference. For detail, please visit the BMI web:

Inexpensive university housing and super 8 motel provide affordable housing during the courses and the conference.
Hopefully, this will be useful to reduce the total cost.

We have also student scholarships for applicants who enroll in BMI courses.
