<div>Engineering Students,<br>
<br>
The MSU College of Engineering offers more than 300
scholarships to undergraduate students each year for a total
of approximately $600,000 in amounts ranging from $100 to
$13,000. There are separate selection processes for obtaining
scholarships for incoming freshmen and current engineering
students.<br>
Returning students are considered for all engineering
scholarships for which they are eligible by completing one
scholarship application annually. Applications are available
now and are due by February 28, 2011. Allocations are made
by a college committee spring semester, for award the
following fall.<br>

The following guidelines govern the selection process:<br>
<br>
1. Academic excellence is the primary criterion, but financial
need is considered for some awards. Some awards are based on
extracurricular activities, community service, co-op and other
work experience, professional and honor societies, career
interests, and other relevant information. Your attached
resume should reflect these accomplishments.<br>
<br>
2. A minimum cumulative grade-point average of 3.00 based on
credits at MSU is required including Fall Semester, 2010.<br>
<br>
3. New students must have completed a minimum of 12 credits at
MSU at the end of Fall Semester, 2010.<br>
