Subject: Media and Information Course Subject Code Change- Effective Fall
2015

 

Students please be advised that effective starting fall 2015 the TC course
subject code will change to MI for all current and new courses offered in
the Media and Information degree program. Please note that the course
numbers will remain the same but will be listed under MI subject code moving
forward. This change will be in place before the start of annual enrollment
on Friday, April 3rd. I anticipate the TC to MI conversion to be complete on
the enrollment system (www.schedule.msu.edu) the week of March 27th. Once
the conversion is complete on the enrollment system, NO courses will appear
under Telecommunication (TC) and a message will appear referring you Media
and Information (MI). 

 

If you have already begun to add TC courses to your planned courses on
Schedule Builder for fall 2015 and spring 2016, the TC courses will NO
longer appear in your planned courses once the conversion from TC to MI is
complete. You will have to look them up under MI and add them back to your
planned courses. Please let me know if you have any questions or concerns.
