Basic Webserver Setup Workshop
Matt Hammerly


This Thursday, our own Matt Hammerly will be leading a workshop showing you how to set up a webserver. This will include setting up a DigitalOcean droplet, installing and configuring webserver software, and creating a domain name that points to your new webserver. Bring a laptop, and you can have a simple website up by the end of the night!

DigitalOcean services cost money, but as students we can get loads of free credit through a variety of means. Please do the following things before Thursday so you can participate for free!
