Dear CSE students,
Now that the semester is rolling, please take a moment to nominate a
favorite instructor for the Withrow Award for Teaching Excellence. Of the
instructors you have had this and previous semesters, who impacted you in
the classroom? Who did a good job explaining a complex topic? The faculty
consider it a great honor to win this award and wear the medal they
receive with pride during commencement. You can nominate an instructor
at:
https://secure.cse.msu.edu/withrow/
Each year, the College of Engineering sponsors the Withrow Award for
Teaching Excellence. In the Department of Computer Science and
Engineering, we solicit nominations from students; those nominations are
then reviewed by a selection committee composed of students and a faculty
adviser.
The award recognizes CSE instructors for the 2014 calendar year. The
nomination will remain open until December 5, 2014. More information about
the Withrow Award is available on the Department's website:
https://secure.cse.msu.edu/withrow/
Please review that information and consider nominating a faculty member
for the Withrow Award for Teaching Excellence.
