The MSU Systems and Security Lab recently released an app, YOU++, on the Google Play Store. 

YOU++ stores and organizes your app usage stats.
YOU++ is an all-in-one app for your mobile phone usage stats. Break down your app usage by time and track your wifi signal strength throughout the day. YOU++ helps you understand your interactions with your smartphone. YOU++ can even help you find where signal strength is strongest for the places you have visited. 
YOU++ is a research-based application from Michigan State University’s Systems and Security Laboratory. As such, by opting in to YOU++, users contribute to the advancement of scientific understanding of smartphone usage patterns. Our goal is to use this information to provide new insights on phone improvements. YOU++ anonymously collects the following information:
- WiFi signal strength 
- location 
- apps currently running
- battery level 
- screen status (on or off)
- phone status 
- physical activity (running, walking, driving)
- cellular signal strength
All information is anonymous and confidential.
