[CSENews] General Motors Information Session (and Pizza) Monday Night

CSE Majors,

  GM will be hosting a Careers Information Session for Computer Science 
Majors

on Monday, September 23 starting at 6:30pm in 1225EB.

  Recently GM has begun insourcing its entire information technology 
operation including software development. GM is in the process of hiring 
some 10,000 IT professionals!

  There are opportunities for software development in Detroit, Warren, 
Atlanta, Austin, and Phoenix.

  GM hired a number of CSE graduates last year. I met with a number of 
them a few weeks ago in Warren. They are all doing fun and exciting 
things at GM.

  One of the presenters will be GM Chief Technical Officer (CTO) Fred 
Killeen who is an MSU Engineering alumnus and a good friend of our 
Capstone program.

  I will be there. I look forward to seeing all of you there.
