  Specialization in Game Design and Development!

This specialization brings together undergraduate students majoring in 
Telecommunication, Information Studies, and Media, Computer Science, and 
Studio Arts to explore modern digital games. The specialization 
complements the breadth and depth of knowledge you acquire in your 
majors with a multidisciplinary understanding of game design and 
development.

The specialization contains four courses, totaling 12 credits, usually 
taken during the your junior and senior years, including:

TC445 Game Design and Development I (Fall offering, 3 credits)

TC455 Game Design and Development II (Spring offering, 3 credits)

TC497 Game Design Studio (Fall offering, 3 credits)

TC498 Collaborative Game Design (Spring offering, 3 credits)

Through these courses, you learn the technology, design fundamentals, 
and development process of digital games, as well as the history and 
business of games. You also gain valuable skills in communicating and 
collaborating in team-based projects while building a strong portfolio 
of games.
