Welcome back!  Our department has given approval for researchers to 
examine computer science majors and their experiences. We encourage you 
to take part.  You will be receiving an email as outlined below.  If you

You will be receiving an email from the registrar's office requesting 
the release of specific data. This is part of a study that is examining 
the experiences of students majoring in computer science and 
engineering. This data will be used to create a pool of potential 
  participants that will have the opportunity to provide further 
information for the study. Your release of this data is optional, 
however, you will notice on the email from the registrar that if you 
consent to the release of your data you will be entered in a drawing for

Student Information and FERPA.

Researchers at MSU and NORC at the University of Chicago are conducting 
a study of undergraduate experiences in Computer Sciences and Computer

two winners will be selected.
