*1) TC491 Special Topics : PHP/MySQL Web Application Development*

Credits: 3
Time: Tu Th 10:20-12:10 from 5/13/2013 - 6/27/2013

Description: This is a hands-on course where we will learn the ins and
outs of the PHP server-side scripting language and MySQL, the relational

applications, for example Facebook was originally created using
PHP/MySQL. The ability to create using PHP/MySQL is in high demand in
the job market. Currently, companies cannot find enough people to fill

expert programmers.

projects with external clients for a hands-on learning experience.
  Topics include: managing complicated and multidisciplinary projects;
organizing projects into manageable elements, including scope, time,
cost, quality, human resources, communication, risk, procurement, and
integration; communicating with stakeholders; analyzing organizations;
developing a budget; and identifying roles and responsibilities during

You can probably enroll in TC491 with no problem. For TC458, as
