[CSENews] Fwd: ACM programming contest

MSU participated in the ACM ECNA regional programming contest this 
weekend in Grand Rapids. The two teams (Team1: Joseph Roth, Chris 
Heuser, Grayson Wright,  Team2: Justin Fila, Nathan Langolf, Sam 
Macaluso) did fairly well. Team1 finished 3/9 problems (with another 3 
in various stages of solution) finishing 25th/128 and Team2 finished 1 
of the 9.  Four  of the six students had not participated in the contest 
before so it was a bit of a "building year".

We thank them for all their work and hope we continue to do well. We 
also say goodbye to Chris (graduating), Joseph (no longer eligible) 
and Grayson (off to China). Thanks very much gentlemen.
