Do consider joining ACM, either in a leadership position or as a member.

It is the time of year to bring in a new crop of students to lead the
ACM.  In particular, we need to get rising sophomores and juniors 
involved to provide leadership continuity.

One thing that would be good for the ACM to do is to provide brief
tutorials on topics of interest to students that are not covered in
class. Kris Micinski's Android introduction last fall is an excellent
example, but there are many, many more topics that would be interesting
-- some would be helpful for getting internships and jobs.  There is a
lot that can be done, but student participation, especially leadership,
is needed.

I'd like to meet with interested students next week Wednesday, March 
30th at 5pm in room 1202 Engineering Building
