Michigan State is considering a summer study abroad program that would
offer certain courses of interest to engineering students at the MSU
Dubai instructional site this summer, from May 14 - July 1 (first summer
session).

Courses offered that would be of particular interest to engineering
students are IAH207, WRA110, MTH234. Classes will run from
Sunday through Wednesday/Thursday between May 16-June 30. Students can
then stay abroad for travel, or return to the US. Housing will be
available through July 1 for students at a dorm-type residence located
about 15-30 minutes from the Dubai campus, with free transportation
(bus) for students between housing and campus.

Tuition will be assessed at the normal East Lansing summer tuition rate.
Additional study abroad costs (including all lodging, food, insurance,
visa, etc) will run approximately $3000-3500. Further additional costs
will be for airfare (about $1500) and spending money, including any
additional travel/trips.

In order to determine if this proposed program will actually run, we
need to assess the interest as quickly and accurately as possible. If
you are interested in spending 6 weeks studying engineering-related
courses at MSU Dubai this summer, please provide your name and describe
your likelihood of participating by responding to me by March 10.
