[CSENews] MSU Eng Scholarships--Deadline February 26th

The MSU College of Engineering offers more than 300 scholarships to 
undergraduate students each year for a total of approximately $600,000 
in amounts ranging from $100 to $13,000.

Returning students are considered for all engineering scholarships for 
which they are eligible by completing one scholarship application 
annually. *Applications are available on-line and are due February 26, 
2010.* Allocations are made by a college committee spring semester, for 
award the following fall.

 

The following guidelines govern the selection process:

 

1.     Academic excellence is the primary criterion, but financial need 
is considered for some awards. Some awards are based on extracurricular 
activities, community service, co-op and other work experience, 
professional and honor societies, career interests, and other relevant 
information. Your attached resume should reflect these accomplishments.

 

2.     A minimum cumulative grade-point average of 3.00 based on credits 
at MSU is required including Fall Semester, 2009.

 

3.     New students must have completed a minimum of 12 credits at MSU 
at the end of Fall Semester, 2009.
