Still looking for a something to do over the Summer? Looking to
improve your experience and resume? Would you like to be able to
place the name "Google" on your resume? Then you should consider
applying and participating in Google Summer of Code.
Google Summer of Code is a program that offers stipends for student
developers to write code for various open source projects. Google
will only be accepting applications from 3/23 - 4/3 (less than a week
away and less than two weeks long) so it's time to get ready to apply!
So if you are interested in the idea of working on open source
projects, looking to expand your experience, or looking to make some
extra money then you should come to the next ACM meeting this upcoming
Thursday at 6pm in room 3105. Dr. C. Titus Brown will be giving a
presentation for us about Google Summer of Code, discussing the
overall program and a bit more in depth explanation of the program.
There will be pizza and pop provided!
Hope to see you there,
Mark Schall
MSU ACM Vice President
