Fall Career Fair Student Ambassador Sign up!!

Our Fall Career Fairs are starting in October with Career Gallery being the kick off event. Student Ambassadors are critical to the success of the events and the employers appreciate their help and enjoy having the chance to interact with our students.  Volunteering as an Ambassador gives you experience to help build your resume, gives you a chance to see how a career fair works, and is a great way to connect with the recruiters; student ambassadors get noticed! 

What are the responsibilities of an Ambassador?
•	Greet, Host, and Assist employers during the event 
•	Represent Career Services, the Colleges, and Michigan State University professionally and with prestige 
•	Assist with student entry to the event; operate scanners and distribute event booklets and maps 
•	Run errands for employers 
•	Assist with continuous refreshment replenishment for employers 
•	Assist employers with their booth setup and/or tear down 
•	Distribute and collect employer and student evaluations 
•	Problem solve  

Here are the events coming up that have volunteer opportunities:

Career Gallery 2008
This 2-day event is MSU’s largest career fair with over 300 companies attending this year. If you are interested in volunteering for Career Gallery you need to sign up right away.
•	CommSciTech Exchange—Wednesday, October 01, 2008, 3-7:00 p.m., at the Breslin Center 
•	Business Exchange—Thursday, October 02, 2008, 3-7:00 p.m., at the Breslin Center

Graduate & Professional School Recruitment Fair
Wednesday October 15, 2008, 5-8:00 p.m., at the MSU Union, 2nd Floor
Volunteers are needed between 2-9:00 p.m.
