Dear CpS and CpE students,

the application deadline for the Google Summer of Code has been extended
until April 7th:

	http://code.google.com/soc/2008

The deadline has been extended in part because there have been
relatively few applications, and even fewer of good quality; this could
partly be because of the weak dollar, because many applications are from
outside the country and Google pays in US $.

Anyway, the upshot is that there are going to be even more opportunities
than last year, and you still have a week to apply.  Go!  Apply!
