[Bmi] Call for BMI 2015 and BMI 2016 proposals

Dear colleagues:

After getting inputs from some of you, we openly call for proposals for:
(1) International Conference of Brain-Mind (ICBM) 2015 and 2016
(2) BMI Courses 2015 and 2016

Some of us are talking about the fragmentation of the research community 
but the current trend is great!   Natural and artificial intelligence 
are slowly converging.  More and more engineering people are talking 
about brain related subjects.  More and more natural intelligence 
researchers are paying attention to quantitative modeling and 
simulation.  BMI is playing its roles in the trend.

Some possibilities for proposers to consider:
(A) ICBM can be hosted together with, or separately from, BMI courses.
(B) A proposal should have:
ICBM: The name of general and  program chairs, the location, and the 
tentative dates.
BMI Courses: The course title, the instructor(s), the location, and the 
tentative dates.

Deadline: Two weeks from now, Saturday, 28, 2015.  If you are thinking 
about proposing something, please contact weng at cse.msu.edu in a week to 
get some detailed information about possible financial assistance from BMI.
