Hello Everyone,

We are pleased to announce to the academic community Sparki, the latest
low-cost open-source robotics platform from ArcBotics. We have been working
hard for the last year to develop an answer to low cost, simple, yet
feature-complete robotics education for all ages. Though Sparki is easy to
use for the beginner, it also provides an enticing, customizable and open
platform to advanced researchers and users since it has features compelling
of robots 10x the price.

You can find more info on our project here:

Through Sparki, we hope to ignite a revolution in educational and research
robotics, making fields such as programming, electronics, and robotics
easier to enter for anyone through hands-on learning, while giving the
research community what its needs to succeed in areas such as swarm
robotics, HRI and more.

We would appreciate any help you could provide in advancing educational
robotics by spreading the word about or even backing Sparki. We are also
interested in research/educational partnerships to further develop our
curriculum and enhance our designs, which are available here:

Thanks so much,
